Mary Taylor and Ben’s whimsical August wedding at Cherokee Dock was filled with unique, dreamy decor and an abundance of greenery.
Their wedding weekend started with a beautiful rehearsal dinner in our Carriage House Stables. Warm, neutral tones & romantic details created the most inviting atmosphere for guests, who sat around a long farmhouse table dressed with white linens and sweet arrangements of roses and dried pampas grass.
The following day, Mary Taylor and Ben said their vows in a ceremony beneath ourWillow Oak canopy. The space was set with classic white seating across the lawn and two large floral arrangements by Branching Out with a greenery arch as the backdrop.
After saying their “I dos,” guests joined the couple for a reception in our Lakeview Event Center, which was decorated like a greenery-filled dream with white draping across the ceiling. A wooden trellis arch sat at the center of the tables, decorated with vines, hanging flowers, and Edison bulbs. The tables were dressed with white satin linens, romantic arrangements of roses and greenery, and a mix of pink taper and small floating candles.
After dinner, the dancing began! The Downtown Band brought magnetic energy for guests to enjoy the evening. And once the reception came to an end, guests lined up and waved sparklers as Mary Taylor and Ben made their farewell exit!
