Model Ellie Ottaway and NHL hockey player Roman Josi celebrated their nuptials with a dreamy summer wedding at The Estate at Cherokee Dock. Their wedding weekend began with an intimate rehearsal dinner in our Carriage House Stables. The following day, these two said "I do" beneath the canopy of oak trees on our front lawn.
"Our favorite memory from that day was during the ceremony when we read each other our vows," Ellie told Nashville Lifestyles. "Roman’s family helped me translate my vows into German beforehand, so it was special for his family to hear. It was also a surprise for Roman, and his face when he realized I was speaking in German at the altar was priceless. Then walking down the aisle in front all of our friends and family as a married couple was the best feeling."
After the ceremony, guests made their way to Lakeside Lawn for cocktail hour. They sipped on signature cocktails crafted by Aperitif and snacked on candied bacon boursin stuffed figs, Nashville hot chicken, and grilled peach skewers from Chef's Market.
